Business Analyst – Langhorne, PA


Position is primarily responsible for generating, interpreting and presenting to management pharmaceutical market analytics using market research tools such as IMS/IQVIA (or similar) that shape decisions on product opportunities.  Provides general market and product research support to the Sales & Marketing and Business Development & Licensing (BD&L) functions. A full and comprehensive understanding and use of pharmaceutical research databases such as IMS/IQVIA and financial modeling techniques (e.g. IRR, NPV modeling) is an essential requirement of the position.


  • Assist Business Development and Licensing (BD&L) and Marketing with financial modeling for potential acquisitions and licensing deals. Create and update financial models for new pipeline targets.
  • Assist in the product portfolio selection process and manage a process for screening of new product opportunities
  • Work with Portfolio, BD&L, and key department heads for inputs and evaluations of new product opportunities
  • Create spreadsheets and presentations for BD&L and portfolio
  • Assist BD&L group in Due Diligence processes (Mergers and Acquisitions)
  • Perform market research, primary and secondary as needed
  • Be accountable for conducting research & intelligence activities in a compliant manner
  • Other project responsibilities as assigned

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Business, or Life Sciences with Business Minor
  • Master’s/Advance Degree in Marketing, Marketing Research or Business preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant business experience in market research, intelligence, business analytics, and/or strategic planning, is required
  • A minimum of 2 years working in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience in generics pharmaceutical industry is preferred;
  • Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative research preferred
